Job Description: Key Responsibilities:Compliance Management:Monitor adherence to local, state, and federal EHS regulations, including hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, and workplace safety standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues. Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:Perform risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential workplace hazards. Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified risks and prevent incidents. Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Employee Training and Awareness:Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, covering topics like chemical safety, emergency response, and safe work practices. Promote a safety culture through awareness campaigns, communication initiatives, and employee engagement activities. Environmental Stewardship:Monitor and manage waste disposal practices to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact, such as energy conservation and water usage optimization. Reporting and Documentation:Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and corrective actions. Prepare regular reports on EHS performance metrics and compliance status to management. Collaboration with Stakeholders:Work closely with operations teams, facility management, and management personnel to address EHS concerns and ensure compliance. Coordinate with regulatory agencies on inspections and reporting requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in safety science, environmental science, or a related field.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant EHS certifications preferred.Strong understanding of EHS regulations and best practices.Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is beneficial.

Education QualificationM.Sc in Organic ChemistryWork ExperienceGood experimentalist with experience in industry for 2 - 7 years, preferably from Contract Research Organization (CRO) & Contract Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS).Experience of working in discovery / process / development chemistryScientific Knowledge - Organic Chemistry Ability to interpret analytical data such as NMR, LCMS. Good experimentation skills MS Office Skills ResponsibilitiesCarrying out synthetic experiments safely, efficiently, capturing all the experimental procedures and data effectively.Work with the Team to achieve and exceed targets within the frame given by the Group Leader/Team Leader.Updating the Team Leader on the functional progress/issues of the project on a regular basis.
