Job Title: Area Sales ManagerLocation:Department: Sales & MarketingReports To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales HeadJob Summary:The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales teams, and building strong relationships with customers within an assigned geographic area. This role involves setting sales targets, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and market share. The ASM will focus on promoting and selling hearing devices through B2C (Business-to-Consumer) channels, ensuring market penetration and brand visibility.Key Responsibilities:Perform market research in areas of competition, prospective clients, and potential for new business.Provide technological guidance and arrange training for newly launched hearing aids for the team members.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives in the assigned area.Ensure augmenting growth, generating new business, and devising & executing business plans by leveraging comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics.Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration.Proficient in developing and implementing market positioning strategies for the Diagnostics Sales along with contributing to building the knowledge and capabilities of products at the area level.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.Conduct regular visits to doctors, hospitals, and clinics to promote hearing devices and establish partnerships.Work on alliances and partnerships with other healthcare brands for cross-marketing and generating more direct leads.Develop strategic business relationships with healthcare partners and customers.Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.Ensure timely reporting of sales data, forecasts, and market feedback.Look after ATL and BTL marketing activities in the area.Play a significant role in conducting several programs and Round Table Discussions with doctors and setting up Direction Camps.Organize special meetings with doctors and healthcare professionals through medical representatives according to their daily, weekly, and monthly planning.Conduct camps in apartments, hospitals, and NGOs to promote hearing devices and generate leads.Work along with the team of audiologists to ensure seamless service and support for customers.Lead marketing campaigns to increase the promotion of hearing aids and to spread brand awareness.Deal with customers in B2C formats and supervise post-sales services.Handle Key Accounts.Promote the Aanvii brand across the region.Provide accurate and punctual forecasting reports on a monthly basis.Drive growth and scale for the region in Business, Partnerships, Customers, Devices, and Tests.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hearing device industry or a related healthcare/medical devices sector.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.Market share expansion within the assigned area.Customer acquisition and retention rates.Sales team performance and development.Timeliness and accuracy of sales reports and forecasts.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Travel and fuel allowances.Health insurance and other benefits as per company policy.Career development and training opportunities.
