Job Summary:The Application Sales Engineer at Absolent India will be responsible for technical sales and business development of Absolents air filtration solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen to understand customer needs, propose suitable solutions, and drive revenue growth. The engineer will work closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams to provide pre-sales technical consultation, application engineering, and after-sales support.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development:Identify and develop new business opportunities for Absolent’s air filtration solutions.Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.Generate and manage leads through customer visits, exhibitions, and networking.Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, end-users, and channel partners.Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution.2. Technical Consultation & Solution Design:Conduct site surveys and assess customer applications to recommend appropriate air filtration systems.Prepare technical proposals, system layouts, and cost estimates.Collaborate with the engineering team to customize solutions as per client needs.Provide technical demonstrations and presentations to customers.3. Customer Support & Relationship Management:Assist in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of filtration systems.Offer post-sales technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.Provide training to customers and distributors on product operation and maintenance.Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for continuous improvement.4. Market Research & Competitive Analysis:Monitor industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.Gather customer feedback and work with product teams for enhancements.Develop reports on market trends, potential clients, and business opportunities.Qualifications & Skills:Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience:2-5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or B2B industrial sales.Experience in air filtration, HVAC, dust & mist collection, or industrial equipment is preferred.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of industrial air filtration systems and applications.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and system schematics.Knowledge of fluid dynamics, airflow calculations, and filtration principles.Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong problem-solving and customer-handling abilities.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Negotiation and relationship-building skills.Other Requirements:Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits and site assessments.Valid driver’s license and ability to visit industrial sites.Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
