Job Description

This position would lead and oversee the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Vocational skilling programs. This role ensures that the courses and content are aligned with industry needs, academic standards, market trends, and fosters innovation through the introduction of new courses and e-learning platforms Responsibilities · Improve Livelihood connect for students by driving the complete course & content development for new and existing vocational skilling programs · Prioritize and align key courses with Sector Skill Council curriculum · Interaction with Industry & Academia to ensure relevance of content through own and team industry connections. · Identify different sectors for skill development and their demand along with the research team. o Development and introduction of newer courses. · Development of suitable pedagogy & teaching materials that enhance engagement and interest of students building interactivity. · Ensure control over the recruitment and training of Faculty through regular training and assessments. · Develop & implement a system for monitoring Faculty performance. · Explore and implement opportunities for e-learning to ensure standardization and consistency in teaching standards /course material across all centers. · Provide inputs based on market trends for all expansion and strategic plans in all matters related to academics. · Identification and managing relationships with Sector Partners for Academic council, industry tie up etc. Qualifications · Postgraduate with 5-10 years of experience in Academics & Content development/ academic monitoring. (M.Ed., MBA, MA in Education, or related fields) · Certifications in Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) can be advantageous · Have excellent communication, networking and presentation skills · Be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances. · Be able to develop the faculty skills and seek advice from variety of sources. · Be willing and able to exercise judgement and take risks. · Understand of technology & experience in content & curriculum creation.
