Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the seamless financial operations of our clients by ensuring accurate financial records, timely filings, and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Post accurate journal and ledger entries for clients, ensuring proper classification of financial transactions.Maintain and update the general ledger for clients on a regular basis.Review and verify entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.Process and review invoices, ensuring all data is accurate and complete.Prepare and maintain comprehensive expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and categorization of all expenditures.Ensure timely processing of payments and accurate reflection of expenses in financial records.Reconcile bank statements with internal accounting records to ensure consistency and accuracy.Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.Maintain and update client accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded and accounted for.Prepare tax workings, including calculations of GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.Assist in tax filings and returns preparation, ensuring adherence to tax laws and deadlines.Ensure timely submission of all tax returns and related documents to the relevant authorities.Handle activities related to monthly closings, ensuring all transactions for the month are accurately recorded.Prepare month-end financial statements and reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved before finalizing the monthly closing.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws to ensure continued compliance.Assist clients in adhering to financial regulations and reporting requirements set by regulatory authorities. Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Banking & Insurance, or Accounting & Finance.Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or CA firm.Hands-on experience with accounts payable/receivable, GST, Income Tax, TDS filings, reconciliations, and report preparation.Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally.Strong attention to detail and excellent report creation skills.
