Job description Job Title: Accounts Executive Experience: 3-5 years Location: Bangalore - Near Bommanahalli, Hosur Road, Bangalore (In-office position) Shift timings: 9:30am – 6:30pm Joining: Immediate / 15 days / 30 days Key Responsibilities: · Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. · Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate recording. · Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between company records and bank statements. · Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulations. · Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights into variances and trends. · Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. · Financial Systems Management: Utilize and maintain accounting software (Zoho books) to ensure efficient financial operations. · Vendor & Client Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile vendor and client accounts to ensure accuracy in payments and receipts. · Expense Management: Monitor and review monthly expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and budgetary constraints. · Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and HR teams to ensure seamless financial operations and resolve any discrepancies. · Financial Reporting to Management: Provide regular financial reports and insights to senior management to aid in strategic decision-making. Qualifications: · Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or related fields. · Experience: 3–5 years in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Zoho Books is required. · Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and related financial regulations. · Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights. · Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders. Preferred Attributes: · Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Good communication skills, both verbal and written. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
