Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Accountant to manage our company’s financial records, ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations and collections at our family-run hardware wholesale business in Durgapur. The role is perfect for someone who’s confident with Tally and Excel, disciplined with money handling, and is open to long-term growth. The ideal candidate must have strong proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Prime , thorough knowledge of GST compliance , and skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data management. A solid understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines is essential. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting using Tally Generate eway bills. Prepare and maintain bills, ledgers, and GST records Vendor/client reconciliations Preparing GST returns Collect payments from clients and follow up on outstanding dues Accounting using excel and prepare basic reports Requirements: Proficiency in Tally & Excel is a must Honest, punctual, and capable of handling responsibility Physically and mentally fit to move around for collection work Preferably from Durgapur or nearby areas Experience: 1–3 years preferred, but skill and sincerity > degrees Perks & Growth Opportunities: Stable, long-term role in a reputed, family-run wholesale business Respectful work environment with full ownership of your role Learn the ins and outs of a real business, not just desk work Fixed Salary + Annual Bonus + Performance Bonus Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Schedule: Fixed shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Durgapur, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Are you married ?
