About the role: We are looking for a mid-level accountant with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and demonstrate expertise in GST compliance and statutory requirements. Key responsibilities include: Roles & Responsibilities: GST Compliance: Preparing and filing GST returns in a timely and accurate manner. Managing GST invoicing and ensuring compliance with GST laws and regulations. Reconciling GST data with financial records and resolving discrepancies. Statutory Compliance: Assisting with statutory audits and ensuring adherence to local compliance requirements. Preparing and submitting reports to regulatory authorities as needed. Accounting and Financial Reporting: Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assisting in budget preparation and expense tracking. Reconciling bank statements and ensuring proper cash flow management. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintaining and updating the general ledger with accurate entries. Conducting regular account reconciliations and closing processes. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Monitoring and processing vendor payments. Managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collections. Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement. Supporting management in decision-making with accurate financial insights. Team Collaboration: Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance. Assisting senior accountants or finance managers in ad hoc projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters or equivalent qualification is preferred). Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance. Proficient in GST laws, and other statutory regulations in India. Hands-on experience with accounting software and MS Office tools (Excel expertise is a must). Experience within Travel Industry is an additional advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English and Hindi.
