Job Summary The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, ensuring tax compliance, managing expenses, and supporting audits. The candidate must adhere to financial policies, stay updated on accounting standards, and collaborate effectively with auditors and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software. Record financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales, and receipts. Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial documents for easy retrieval. Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other payment gateways. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues on time. Ensure accuracy in the reconciliation of accounts. Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filing. Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses within the established budget. Review and process employee expense reports. Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations as required. Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with the companys financial policies and procedures. Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations. Top 5 Key Competencies: Financial Record-Keeping: Expertise in maintaining accurate financial records and proper documentation. Account Reconciliation: Strong skills in reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy. Tax Compliance: Knowledge of tax regulations and ability to assist in timely and accurate tax filings. Attention to Detail: High precision in data entry, reporting, and reviewing financial transactions. Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently. Qualifications A bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certification such as CA, CMA, or any other. 2-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis. Experience working in a similar role within a structured organization is a plus.
