Job Summary The Accounts Payable Intern will review and action the accounting of Invoices and Expense reports within the department. The post holder will assist in monitoring onbase queues, purchase order discrepancy report (as assigned) and assist to support the objectives of the AP department. Principal Accountabilities Provide a variety of administrative and data entry account payable services to the Accounts Payable department. Record invoices in Costpoint and uploads supporting documents. Monitor purchase order discrepancy report to identify good to approve invoices and submit report to AP manager every day. Assist other team members as and when required. Perform any other relevant duties as assigned to the position by senior management. Reporting Relationships Title of Direct Report(s): No direct reports Title of Supervisor: Supervisor, International Accounts Payable Knowledge & Skills Basic understanding of accounts payable functions. Sound knowledge and experience in Microsoft applications. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and work well under pressure. Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization. A curious and continuous learning mindset. Experience & Education Fresher/ 0-6 month of experience in handling accounting/ administrative tasks of multinational company. Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
