Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Invoice Management: Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices. Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment. Payment Processing: Record and process customer payments, including checks, electronic payments, and credit card transactions. Apply payments to appropriate customer accounts and invoices. Reconcile payments and resolve any discrepancies. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare and maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions. Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts. Customer Relations: Communicate with customers regarding their accounts, payment status, and any issues or discrepancies. Address and resolve customer inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner. Maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure smooth payment processes. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collections activities. Assist in month-end closing processes by providing necessary data and reports. Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounts receivable processes and performance. Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Maintain internal controls within the accounts receivable process. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Participate in system upgrades and implementations.
