Job description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Overseas Education Manager to lead and manage a team of counsellors responsible for student admissions to universities and colleges across the UK, Canada, Ireland, and Europe. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the admissions process, strong leadership skills, and a passion for international education. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management Supervise and mentor a team of 11 study abroad counsellors.Set individual and team targets and ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly goals.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.Monitor call quality, application submissions, and conversion rates. Admissions Oversight Guide the team on course selection, eligibility checks, documentation, and application submission.Oversee the end-to-end admission process from enquiry to offer letter conversion.Ensure updated knowledge on university intakes, application deadlines, and scholarship options. Compliance & Process Excellence Ensure adherence to university and visa regulations for the UK, Canada, Ireland, and EU countries.Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the team.Monitor and improve counsellor productivity, customer satisfaction, and quality of counselling. Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with university partners, admission officers, and regional managers to resolve issues or delays.Coordinate with marketing and CRM teams for lead generation and nurturing.Attend university visits, webinars, and training sessions. Reporting & Analysis Maintain and share regular performance dashboards (leads, applications, conversions).Analyze student trends, course preferences, and geography-specific insights.Prepare reports for senior leadership on market dynamics and operational challenges. Key Requirements 5+ years of experience in international student recruitment or overseas education consulting. Proven experience in handling destinations such as UK, Canada, Ireland, and Europe. Minimum 2 years of team management experience (handling 5+ counsellors). Strong understanding of university application portals, SOPs, CAS, GTE, LOA, etc. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Workspace/MS Office. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Management, or related field. Certifications in international education counselling (e.g., British Council, ICEF). Familiarity with visa processes for the UK (Tier 4), Canada (SDS), and Schengen countries.
