Position Overview:The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services. You will be a key member of a large team dedicated to assisting our employees and maintaining IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Provide first and second-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other network devices.Respond to support tickets in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Assist in maintaining IT asset inventory and managing software licenses.Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems, including patching and upgrades.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT processes and enhance service delivery.Document technical processes and create user guides for common issues.Contribute to IT projects and initiatives as needed.Assistance during after-hours support on a need basis.Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support.Implement and maintain IT policies, perform regular IT auditsQualifications:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.Proficient in Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Knowledge of remote support tools and techniques.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
