Role & responsibilities Will manage the quality interaction with assigned suppliers, including the assessment of a given suppliers quality systems, supplier selection, and traditional quality assurance activities such as corrective action, containment, and process approval. Manages the successful resourcing of current products or process approval of new products utilizing the tools of APQP. Facilitates regular communications between manufacturing plants and suppliers to resolve supplier quality related issues. Ensures that appropriate actions are in place and corrective action plans are documented from suppliers to address discrepant materials when they occur. Measures supplier quality performance according to documented procedures and drives appropriate improvements to meet established targets. Provide input to Commodity Teams in the development of overall sourcing strategies. Oversees and performs audits of suppliers’ quality systems and manufacturing processes. Utilize project management tools to complete multiple, varied, tasks. Applies the principles of product quality planning, evaluation, and control in support of the manufacturing and installation operations of the organization. Responsible for applicable systems related to plant / customer issues such as corrective action requests, supplier corrective action requests, nonconforming material reports, etc. Leads containment activities. Facilitates continuous improvement quality activities to reduce the potential for defects and ensures continual improvement in process and product design. Ensures products and process development meet quality standards. Identifies problems, prioritizes actions, leads or participates in Six Sigma projects. Participates in change management activities by verifying products and processes, developing key measures, analyzing data for decision support, and presenting results to plant leadership. Leads audits of processes and quality systems. Works with purchasing to improve the quality of purchased parts. Serves as a quality technical resource to other functional areas. May coach Supplier Development Engineers

Role & responsibilities Develop and submit comprehensive PPAP documents for new product launches and engineering changes, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory requirements.Determine the need for and conduct process capability and stability studies to qualify manufacturing processes.Review and analyze part layout and Gage R&R reports, interpreting data to assess measurement system variation and process capability.Recommend changes to manufacturing processes based on findings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.Follow up on process changes and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions, ensuring continuous process enhancement.Provide regular reports and analysis on key performance indicators to senior management.Apply knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Safety, Sustainability, APQP, Incoterms, Six Sigma, TPM, and 5S to maintain compliance and process efficiency.Should Demonstrate ethical behavior, teamwork, analytical thinking, and effective decision-making. Good understanding on risks related to Cyber security / Malware / Phishing / Ransomware / Spoofing / Multi-factor Authentication etc
