Job Title: AGM Production Location: Sector 11, Noida Reports To: Director Department: Production Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Age: 40-45 years Salary: 12 to 16 Lac Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience in production management, with at least 5-6 years in a leadership role (preferably in a manufacturing environment). Proven experience in managing large-scale production teams and optimizing production processes. Job Summary: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Production is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and quality-focused manufacturing processes. This senior leadership role will require a strong understanding of production strategies, team management, process optimization, and safety compliance. The AGM – Production will collaborate closely with the cross-functional departments to meet production targets, improve processes, and maintain high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring that production targets and schedules are met. Manage production resources including labor, equipment, and raw materials to optimize productivity. Lead the planning and execution of production activities to meet customer demands and business objectives. Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and manage the production team to foster a high-performance culture. Provide training, development, and performance evaluations for production staff. Ensure proper staffing and skills alignment to meet production demands. Promote a collaborative and problem-solving environment within the production department. Quality Control & Safety: Ensure production processes adhere to company quality standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols. Monitor and evaluate product quality and resolve any issues related to defects or inefficiencies. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product quality and reduce defects. Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost efficiency across all production activities. Ensure effective utilization of resources, including personnel, machinery, and materials, to optimize output. Monitor and control production costs, waste, and downtime to maintain profitability. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all production activities are compliant with legal, health, and safety regulations. Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management, highlighting performance, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Provide strategic insights to the Management for capacity planning, risk management, and business continuity. Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with other departments (e.g., supply chain, R&D, maintenance) to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products. Collaborate with the engineering team on new product development, process automation, and technology upgrades. related field. Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
