Job Overview:As an Automotive Embedded Developer/Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for automotive systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of software components into the overall vehicle architecture. Your work will contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive technologies, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance.Responsibilities:Design and implement embedded software solutions for automotive applications, considering safety, real-time constraints, and performance requirements.Develop low-level software components for microcontrollers, processors, and other embedded systems.Develop AUTOSAR BSW modules in compliance with project requirements.Implement Firmware for communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, UART, Ethernet, etc.) for seamless interaction between embedded systems in the vehicle.Analyze and understand software requirements, specifications, and system architecture to create efficient and effective embedded solutions.Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to integrate software components into the overall vehicle system.Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and validation of embedded software to ensure functionality and reliability.Implement safety-critical software features and adhere to automotive safety standards (ISO 26262).Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design documents, code comments, and test plans.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and quality assurance teams, to achieve project goals.Experience: 3-8 YearsQualifications:Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry.Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR BSW development.Hands-On experience with Autosar Mode Management (ECUM, BSWM, CanIF, CanNM, CanSM).Hands-on Experience or Knowledge of Boot Loader software development.Proficiency in programming languages such as C and assembly language.Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).Strong hands on experience in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).Understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity principles.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience with Configuration& Requirement Management toolsExperience with Automotive testing tools like INCA, CANalyser and UDEStrong debugging skills and the ability to use tools like oscilloscopes and JTAG debuggersGood knowledge on SW & MISRA warningsGood exposure for ASPICE standardsPerks and benefits:Medical insurance Coverage of INR 5,00,000Personal Accident Coverage of INR 25,00,000Employee Provident FundEmployee Gratuity
