Role Profile Role Title: Merchandiser - Specialist Division / Brand: Apparel / Wellness Brief Description of Role: The role holder will deliver successful outcomes commensurate with divisional / brand needs. The key requirements will include (but are not limited to) effective supervision, administration, maintenance, updating, distribution of data, information and reports related to the needs of the business which assigns the task. Activity related to this group of roles includes, but is not limited to: Pricing / Promotion / Sales system updates, resolution of IT Issues, System setup & Documentation creation, Adhoc Analysis, Business reporting & uploads, ASN / GRN / Invoice creation & reporting, Logistics & Inventory reporting, Ecom Content & Ranging uploads & sweeps, Stock & Pricing front end sync, Ecom reporting incl. marketing & CRM Marketplace content management . Content of the role profile will be determined by 3 core elements: Know-how: the level of skill, knowledge or experience required to deliver successful outcomes.Accountability: the extent to which the role is responsible for delivering overall success in the function (accountability for success within the role is implicit). Further, this element identifies if there is any responsibility for work instructions to direct reports. Problem Solving: the level to which the role holder will determine the activity within the function, the extent to which the role is required to create solutions. Role requirements: These will vary according to division / brand. Role holder will be responsible for successful completion of the following elements related to these tasks: Effective administration of relevant documents and systems. Supervision and work instruction of others to achieve the same outcomes. Reviewing, arranging, compiling and interpreting records, data, information, and reports. Analysis of data and production of reports. Maintenance of relevant filing and recording systems and any associated electronic systems. Co-ordination of work activity and alignment to business needs. Organization, preparation, production and distribution of reports and information files. Communication with wider teams and managers. recommendations. Provide insight and advise Know-How Role holder should be educated to Level 5 College / Undergrad level or have commensurate experience in the same field. They should demonstrate advanced technical competence in relevant IT systems and solutions. They will be required to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in English and should demonstrate advanced numerical reasoning. Role holder should have demonstrable supervisory experience and competence in general office related duties. Accountability Role holder will be responsible for successful, timely and quality completion of issued tasks. There may be direct reports to this role dependent on alignment within the business (see appendix 2) Problem Solving The role holder will be required to complete tasks as issued, those identified as required to deliver successful outcomes and to share information. There will be some requirement for the role holder to identify new ways of working or create additional solutions. There will be some requirement for the role holder to analyse and interpret outcomes and to make recommendations on ways to achieve success.
