Department: EstatesReporting To: Assistant Director - EstatesPosition SummaryAn HVAC engineer designs, implements, and maintains heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. They work with other professionals to ensure that the systems are: Energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable, and in line with the project goals and architectural plan.Duties / ResponsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities: HVAC Engineer / Supervisor Responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment. Their responsibilities include: Managing projects: Scheduling work, prioritizing jobs, and ensuring projects are completed on time Maintaining equipment: Inspecting equipment, performing repairs, and operating HVAC maintenance equipment Maintaining records: Keeping records of work orders, inventory, and expenditures Designing systems: Designing air flow control systems and modifications to existing systems Reviewing plans: Reviewing plans and specifications for new construction to ensure compatibility with existing equipment Providing technical assistance: Providing technical assistance to mechanics when requested Preparing reports: Preparing biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Maintaining inventory: Maintaining inventory of parts and tools Training employees: Training employees on maintenance and repair procedures and standard safety practices Desired Qualification & SkillsBachelor's degree / Diploma in a relevant field.Prior experience of 3-5 Years in an educational setting is highly desirable.Working knowledge of MEP services, Engineering Technical specs & drawingsIt is an essential staff position hence those who are ready to stay on campus/ready to work in shifts need to apply.
