Job Description

"Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in renewable energy projects, particularly in solar and wind energy systems." Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery of materials. Optimize inventory management and procurement processes to align with project requirements. Procurement Management: Source and negotiate with vendors/suppliers for components related to transmission lines, substations, and renewable energy projects. Ensure compliance with technical specifications, budget constraints, and quality standards. Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to align supply chain activities with project timelines. Manage logistics for on-time delivery of critical components. Vendor Management: Evaluate vendor performance, establish long-term partnerships, and maintain a database of preferred suppliers. Monitor adherence to contractual terms, including warranties and after-sales support. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies in all supply chain activities. Prepare and manage documentation required for audits and compliance checks. Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies. Manage contingencies for disruptions in the supply chain or material shortages. Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in ERP and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other relevant tools). Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of electrical engineering components used in transmission and renewable energy sectors.
