Role: - High Voltage Components Design & Development Engineer Responsibilities: - Responsibilities: Define EV/HEV Electrical/Electronic components specification for charging, traction system and vehicle functions Defining and evaluation of EV/HEV ECUs Engine Management System Interfaces, functions, and Controls Electrical components Hardware Evaluation/testing at Part & Vehicle level Conducting components development with Suppliers like Technical reviews & Project Schedule monitoring Process confirmation of Electrical and Electronics components Work with System team to identify the electrical interfaces & calibration Competency Requirements: - Technical/Functional: Knowledge of Electrical & Electronics in Vehicle and various Components Knowledge of EV/HEV systems (Architecture and design considerations) Experience in testing at Component bench and vehicle level Experience of BOM creation, Project scheduling Electronic Controller testing, electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills Knowledge of ISO 26262 Exposure to Hybrid / Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, Verification and Validation. Familiarity with on board diagnostics. Exposure to Regulations, and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 041, AIS038, AIS102, AIS 048 Behavioral: Proactive Excellent analytical capability Should be able to work in large teams and dedication for timely completion of projects Should be open to posting anywhere as per the job requirement
