Role & responsibilities1. Maintenance Management:Maintain SOP Schedule and monitor routine maintenance and repairs on all company vehicles, machinery and facilities 2. Team Leadership:Lead, train and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and staffFoster a culture of safety, efficiency and continuous improvement within the team.3. Preventive Maintenance:Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and vehicles.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.4. Troubleshooting and Repairs:Troubleshooting and RepairsCoordinate and perform repairs as needed, ensuring timely resolution of problems.5. Inventory Management:Manage and maintain and inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.Ensure timely procurement of necessary supplies and maintain cost-effective stock levels.6. Vendor Coordination:Establish and maintain relationship with external service providers and vendors.Coordinate and oversee outsourced maintenance and repair services.7. Budget Management:Develop and manage the maintenance department budget.8. Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment status and budget and performance.Preferred candidate profile Proven experience in a maintenance management role with a logistics industry.Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic systems.Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.Proficiency in using Maintenance Management software and tools.Proficient in using MS Office - (Excel, Word & Power point).Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.Excellent leadership and team management skills.
