Shift Time Zone: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (10:30 PM to 6:30 AM India time November to March and 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM India time March to November) Job Summary: MGT is seeking a highly innovative team member to apply their passion for data analysis to scale our impact. The Data Analyst will play a key role in capturing data, performing analysis and developing visualizations that allow MGT to intentionally use data to inform our social impact strategy. What you will do: The ideal candidate will support data collection and analysis, research, propose solutions based on data, and process development for social impact data practices across different functional groups in MGT, getting access to work and learning from different groups across MGT. This is an entrepreneurial environment that fosters learning and encourages process improvement. The Data Analyst will have the opportunity to work in support of our State, Local, and Education (SLED) consulting practices with limitless opportunities to make an impact on the future of our organization. Key Responsibilities: Gather client and project metrics across the business to be used in evaluating MGTs social impact reporting. Manage individual tasks to existing work plans and timelines for data projects, prepare meeting materials, and follow up on next steps. Identify, clean, merge, and filter datasets from multiple public sources to generate high-quality cross-functional datasets. Maintain and iterate improvements for existing data models across the business. Create, maintain, and automate business reports for teams and individuals. Support to manage pipeline opportunities in CRM platforms. Translate analytic insights into clear business actions to ensure all teams make well-informed decisions based on empirical evidence. Analyze trends and patterns in complex data sets and support decision-making processes based on this data. Create, deliver, and analyze surveys to calculate key evaluation metrics. Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university One (1) or more years’ experience in data research, market business intelligence, statistics, or analytical research Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus Familiarity with the use of public datasets is a plus (example: US Census Bureau datasets) Advance or Native-level English fluency, especially in writing technical documentation Ability to be available during U.S. business working hours (preferably to Eastern time) Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Proven analytical, database design, and analysis skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable reports and recommendations Quick learner, independent in work and capable of carrying out tasks without further instructions Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of multiple concurrent initiatives Ability to navigate ambiguity comfortably and meet frequent deadlines Problem solver, willing to propose solutions to roadblocks that may arise rather than rely on others to solve them Prior experience with remote or geographically distributed work teams (especially, internationally) A sense of humor and ability to work in a dynamic environment Strong sense of continued learning and teamwork Why Join Us?
