Job Title: API Integration Specialist Location: Bhopal Experience: 6+ Years About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced API Integration Specialist with a strong background in integrating third-party APIs, especially within Python frameworks, and solid knowledge of networking fundamentals like IP whitelisting, SSL/TLS, and secure API communication. You’ll play a key role in connecting external systems with our ERP platform and ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient integrations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement third-party API integrations using Python, REST/SOAP APIs, and Python framework tools. Understand and work with Frappe server scripts, custom apps, and hooks for seamless integration points. Analyze API documentation, identify required authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT). Configure and manage network security elements such as: IP whitelisting SSL/TLS certificate management Firewall rules VPN tunnels (where required for secure API connections) Troubleshoot and resolve API and network-level integration issues. Optimize API calls and handle error responses, token management, and retries efficiently. Document integration workflows, API credentials, error logs, and network configurations. Collaborate with external service providers, internal developers, ERP admins, and network teams for smooth integration rollouts. Stay current with updates in python APIs, API security standards, and new networking practices. Required Skills & Experience: 6+ years of experience in API integration development, preferably in python environments. Proficient in Python and REST API consumption. Strong knowledge of python custom app development, and integration via server scripts or custom APIs. Hands-on experience with networking concepts: IP whitelisting & firewall configurations SSL/TLS setup and certificate validation VPN configurations for secure API communication Experience with secure API integration patterns — token-based authentication (OAuth 2.0, API Keys, JWT) and secure data encryption. Comfortable with API testing and debugging tools (Postman, cURL). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline. Nice to Have: Experience with secure government APIs within ERP systems. Knowledge of python integrations like Payment Gateway APIs, SMS/Email APIs, or other enterprise connectors. Familiarity with API Gateways. Exposure to cloud-based deployments for python and related network configurations.
