BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the creation and maintenance of Oracle EBS and or Fusion (Oracle Engagement Cloud) application programs to maximize operating efficiency and/or competitive advantage. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Work directly with Functional and IT Business Analysts to design and develop technical solutions to meet business requirements. Collaborate with IT staff and business on problem resolution. Maintain existing software and provide technical support for those systems. Design, code, test, debug and implement technical solutions. Recommend and implement system processes to meet business requirements! Write and maintain detailed design specification documentation. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct review sessions with the business to produce the desired results. Program migration using Serena and other migration tools. Continues personal development to stay abreast of changes and new techniques within the field of application development. Updates Service Now Ticket System to report progress of resolution. Perform other related duties as assigned. INTERACTIONS: Reports progress and resolves technical issues with supervisor as required. Collaborates with the Software Quality Assurance role for testing. Collaborates with Oracle Solution Analysts/business analysts to specify program requirements. Devotes majority of time programming software solutions. Consults with peers, Corporate ITSS, and outside consultants as required. POSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Minor business travel possible. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the following: o SQL, PL/SQL, and tuning o Experience with Oracle EBS suite of development tools including BI Publisher, BPEL/SOA, OBIEE, Oracle Applications Framework, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms/personalization/OAF and Oracle Reports Candidates with the following skills will receive additional preference: o Implementation experience o Oracle Data Integrator or similar software experience o Java o APEX o Experience with Oracle Cloud or Cloud integration o Serena Business Manager o Service Now Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced implementation environment. Ability to unit test programs and correct defects prior to delivering for user testing. Proactive; takes the initiative to seek process and performance improvements. Strong problem-solving, collaborative and communication skill (written and verbal) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s degree in computer science or related discipline Two+ year proven Oracle EBS development experience Experience translating business requirements into application solutions. Oracle Applications R12 experience in a variety of modules including (but not limited to) Field Service, Order Management, Finance, Projects, Depot Repair, Service Contracts, Spare Parts, Inventory Management and Mobile Field Service ACCOUNTABILITIES: Enterprise-class applications that deliver the best availability, performance, and stability, cost effectively that enables our business to be competitive with valuable products services and solutions.
