Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Application Engineer to join our robotics division. The role involves supporting project installations, programming robots for various industrial applications, providing technical assistance, and collaborating with sales and service teams to deliver customer-focused automation solutions. Key Responsibilities: Support new project installation and commissioning activities of robotic systems. Develop and implement robot programming for applications such as spot welding, arc welding, material handling, and machine tending. Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support to customers and internal service teams. Deliver technical support and training to customers, system integrators, and service personnel. Assist in the selection and configuration of robots and robot options tailored to customer automation requirements. Engage directly with customers to understand their automation needs and recommend appropriate robotic solutions. Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales and Sales teams to help achieve sales targets and contribute to company profitability. Collect and communicate market feedback from customers and system integrators to management, aiding business strategy development. Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports to senior management. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related discipline) with strong knowledge of robotics. 3 to 5 years of practical experience in robot applications such as welding, material handling, or machine tending. Experience with major robot brands (e.g., Kawasaki, Fanuc, Yaskawa, KUKA) is preferred; experience with Kawasaki robots is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required. Skills and Competencies: Strong robot programming and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-centric with the ability to provide technical training and support. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Strong organizational and reporting skills.
