Brief Job Description: Provide engineering drawing and overall technical and application support to Asia Market Unit. Key person responsible for Thermal products on technical support and solutions. Work with Bid Team on Bill of Quantity, prepare technical proposal, and tender submission for Mega Project. Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: Provide technical advice on Vertiv Liebert product application and selection to Asia Market Units. Provide engineering design and installation of Cooling product, particularly in Data Center environment and others such as Light industrial and Lab. Write technical proposal, design presentation and to provide engineering drawings in AutoCAD. Generate Bill of Quantity and technical specification for proposed design Maintain the drawings (soft/hard copies), catalogues, white papers, application and technical reference materials to ensure that they are updated, orderly and readily accessible. Exercise sense of urgency, be analytical and professional in the approach and cultivate long term customer relationship and where possible strive for win-win solutions. Cultivate a work approach of pro-activeness, keeping up to date the knowledge and application of company products/services and other related services, while continually pursue self/personal development by self analysis, reading, benchmarking against the best in the industry and practice. Qualifications Required/ Minimum Qualifications: University/College Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Major in Refrigeration, or HVAC is preferable. Minimum 3~5 years experience in related application & technical field. Experience with Data Center / CRAC units. Additional / Preferred Qualifications: Understand the Data Center Standard is added advantages (uptime, BICSI, DCDC, TIA). Ability to work effectively and diligently as an individual and team member. Computer literacy. Autocad design skill and CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamic) simulation skill is added advantages.
