Job Title: Architect – Designer House / Architectural Design Studio Location: Kolkata Department: Design & Architecture Reports To: Partner of the organization Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our designer house, known for delivering bespoke, high-end residential and commercial design solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of aesthetics, material knowledge, and spatial awareness, with the ability to translate client visions into elegant, functional spaces. You will work closely with clients, interior designers, and project teams to design and execute distinctive architectural projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Develop conceptual designs, sketches, and architectural drawings for luxury residences, boutique commercial spaces, or hospitality projects. Collaborate with clients to understand design preferences, functional needs, and lifestyle requirements. Lead the development of architectural presentations, mood boards, 3D models, and material palettes. Prepare and manage construction documents, working drawings, and specifications. Coordinate with interior designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure cohesive execution of the design intent. Oversee site visits, quality checks, and provide on-site design direction as needed. Ensure projects adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations. Research and integrate innovative materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices. Maintain project timelines and assist in budget estimations where required. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. Registered Architect or working toward licensure (as per local requirements). 3–7 years of experience in high-end residential or boutique commercial design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools like Lumion or V-Ray. Strong portfolio showcasing design creativity, technical expertise, and project involvement. Preferred Skills Eye for detail and passion for design excellence. Knowledge of materials, finishes, and custom detailing. Familiarity with luxury client expectations and premium design standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative design team. salary range would be 10 to 12lacs per annum
