Role & responsibilities Design Development: Create detailed architectural designs and plans, using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketch Up. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through construction, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets. Building Codes and Regulations: Ensure designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate various project elements. Site Visits: Conduct site assessments and inspections during construction to monitor progress and resolve any issues. Presentation: Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field. Licensing: Licensed to practice architecture (varies by location). Experience: 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management. Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
