Job Description

The Area Sales Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic sales plans to attract potential customers and retain existing ones within a specific geographical area. This role involves managing and supporting the sales team, ensuring sales targets are met, and promoting the company's products or services to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Planning - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned area. - Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. - Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends. Customer Relationship Management - Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. - Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management. - Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments. Team Management - Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets. - Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve the sales team's skills and performance. - Setupt a salesteamsm and monitor performance. Performance Monitoring - Analyze sales statistics and prepare reports on sales volume, potential sales, and areas of opportunity. -Monitor competitors 's products, sales, and marketing activities. -Report and provide feedback to management regularly. Sales Operations - Manage the sales budget and ensure cost-effectiveness. - Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns. - Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities. Field Work - Spend a significant amount of time in the field meeting clients and fostering relationships. - Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. Skills - Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. - Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Personal Attributes - High level of motivation and a results-driven approach. - Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area. Working Conditions - Full-time position, may require working on weekends or evenings as needed. - Regular travel within the assigned area is required.
