Thank you for your interest in the inaugural Yale Model United Nations South Asia, which will take place from November 28-30, 2025 . In the Vibrancy of Bengaluru, India, YMUN South Asia is an international Model UN conference born from a novel mission of the Yale International Relations Association (YIRA) to bring unparalleled educational experiences to students across the globe. Delegates are provided with a Model UN experience that emphasizes dynamic yet cerebral dialogues. The inaugural conference will be hosted at the renowned Harrow International School Bengaluru, perfectly equipped to address the needs of committees varying in size. In the role of Assistant Director, you will be a vital force in shaping the essence of the conference and the tapestry of its committees. You will work alongside committee Directors from the Yale Secretariat to examine delegate position papers, steer the flow of debate within the committee, and offer guidance to delegates throughout the conference. Assistant Directors may also be asked to chair during the conference with their Director’s guidance. We invite impassioned high school students to join our team and be woven into the fabric of our team culture. Prospective applicants should have sincere interest in the conference and the educational opportunities it creates for high school students. We are particularly looking for applicants with rich MUN experience, communication and organizational acumen, in addition to creativity and boundless enthusiasm. Please note that all Assistant Directors will be responsible for arranging their own transportation and accommodations for the duration of the conference.
