Role: Assistant Finance Manager Location: Bangalore, 6days a week Reports to: COO Job Summary: The Role will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and development. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform decision-making. Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Monitor cash flow, identify potential risks, and recommend solutions. Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., GST, TDS). Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions. Perform bank reconciliations. Payroll Activities. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the company's budget. Monitor actual performance against budget and identify variances. Prepare financial forecasts and projections. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. Assist with audits and due diligence processes. Strategic Financial Guidance: Provide financial advice and guidance to management on strategic decisions. Identify and manage financial risks. Support fundraising efforts and investor relations. Team Management: Supervise and mentor finance team members. Delegate tasks and provide guidance and support. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a startup environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in Tally accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented and organized. Bonus Points: Experience with financial modeling and forecasting. Knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations (GST, TDS). Experience with working with investors. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
