Assistant General Manager Marketing

Job Description

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote special steel products. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives. Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and product catalogues. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders. Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives. Prepare and present regular reports on marketing activities and results to senior management. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental goals. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. 15 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the steel manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms. Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
