We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to oversee our retail pharmacy operations , manage warehouse distribution , handle government tenders , and drive corporate partnerships . Key Responsibilities: Retail & Pharmacy Chain Management: Oversee daily operations of multiple pharmacy outlets across Kolkata & Howrah. Ensure optimal stock management, timely replenishment, and inventory control across all stores. Implement sales strategies, pricing policies, and customer service standards to maximize profitability. Monitor store performance, sales targets, and compliance with regulatory standards . Warehouse & Distribution Management: Manage large-scale pharmaceutical warehousing operations for wholesale and retail supply. Ensure efficient inventory tracking, stocking, and order fulfillment for all pharmacy outlets. Oversee warehouse setup, automation, storage management, and logistics . Ensure timely dispatch & replenishment of medicines to all retail outlets. Government Tenders & Corporate Deals: Identify, apply, and secure government tenders for bulk medicine supply. Develop new corporate partnerships for large-scale medicine distribution. Negotiate and broker deals with hospitals, clinics, and institutions . Maintain strong relationships with government bodies and corporate clients . Operational & Compliance Management: Ensure pharmaceutical compliance, legal requirements, and quality control for wholesale & retail. Monitor vendor relationships, supplier negotiations, and procurement efficiency . Lead a team of store managers, warehouse staff, and procurement executives . Required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5+ years of experience in wholesale & retail pharmaceutical distribution . Strong knowledge of warehouse setup, logistics, and operations . Prior experience in handling government tenders and corporate tie-ups . Strong leadership, negotiation, and people management skills. Knowledge of inventory management, stock audits, and compliance regulations . Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and pharmacy management software .
