Assistant Land Surveyor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Assist in performing land surveys using modern equipment such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, etc. Accurately collect, analyze, and document field data. Support the creation of detailed survey reports, maps, and technical drawings. Assist in site layout, boundary demarcation, and staking for construction and development projects. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards during all surveying activities. Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and on-site construction teams. Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper functioning of all surveying instruments. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in land surveying or civil site work (applications from freshers are also welcome). Basic proficiency in operating Total Station, GPS equipment, AutoCAD, and related survey tools. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability and willingness to work in field conditions and travel as needed. Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working on real estate or construction-related projects. Familiarity with local land regulations, legal boundaries, and documentation processes.
