Job Description Assistant Manager, Claims AXA XL is looking for talented individuals to support our business across all product lines and geographies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, global business . What You’ll Be DOING What will your essential responsibilities include? Managing a team of colleagues, motivating and developing them, working on employee development effectively. Be Accountable for the UK team aligned on Bdx/Non Bdx Non-Lloyds Claim portfolio and its execution, delivery. Managing teams’ workload and capacity. General reporting capabilities including control of the portfolios if needed. Meet set processing targets/ SLA and ensure claims are processed within the agreed time frame. Building effective relations with stakeholders, support timely resolution of escalations and supporting in improving performance. Acting as cross-functional liaison to ensure stellar level of collaboration. Provide regular performance feedback and giving frequent formal and informal coaching sessions. Deliver informative reports, ability to crunch data, possesses data driven & fact-based approach. Identify the gaps and enhance them with the process knowledge to deliver the best results. Proactive problem-solving to balance and manage client expectations with internal service standards. Organizing and coordinating quality checks. Preparing training plans for team members. Getting involved in production as and when required. Participating in projects within the domain and always looking for improvement opportunities. You will report to Senior Manager. What You Will BRING We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills And Abilities Graduate / Postgraduate with relevant years of experience in Insurance/reinsurance industry. Ability to manage the team along with supporting the team as SME. Positive, innovative, and make it better mindset to bring operational efficiencies. Experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required - support segment KPI and management reporting. Work self-directedly to complete given task and be proactive to reach out to other person/team to seek solutions when needed. Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal clients and customers. Desired Skills And Abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills along with Active listening skills, attention to detail and sound report-writing skills. Organized with the ability to sort multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and detail orientated. Ability to use initiative in day-to-day activities to resolve issues or flag them to management for review.
