Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Design - Civil to support the planning and execution of solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering design related to utility-scale solar installations, including structural design, land development, and site infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Develop civil/structural designs for round-mounted and rooftop solar PV projects are optimized for cost, performance, and constructability. Prepare site grading, drainage, foundation, and access road layout drawings. Perform structural analysis and design for module mounting structures and equipment foundations. Conduct site assessments and feasibility analysis. Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design compliance with local regulations and standards. Provide support during permitting, bidding, and construction phases. Review and approve civil drawings, calculations, and reports. Responsible for performing load calculations, including wind, seismic, live, and dead loads, to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design standards. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. 35 years of relevant experience in civil design, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D, Sketchup, PVsyst and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
