Assistant Manager - IT

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Oversee IT & OT integration, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Lead helpdesk & IT support to maintain high uptime and service levels. Drive networking, cybersecurity, backup management & disaster recovery planning, hands-on experience is a must. Implement and manage CCTV, video conferencing, IT infrastructure & access controls. Lead new technology implementations, automation projects, and IT upgrades. Track IT project status, reviews, and reporting to ensure on-time delivery. Provide digital and analytics insights to improve plant efficiency and decision-making. Handle vendor management, contract negotiations and IT procurement Manage and track IT budget for plant including CAPEX and OPEX Update IT policies and manage external and internal audits Technical responsibilities: Knowledge of O/S Windows 11, Window 10, Mac, Server, VM is critical Application Management, Backup Monitoring, Network Monitoring Incident Management, End User Management, Asset Management, Vendor Management. Mail Management, O365 Knowledge, Outlook Configuration Windows/Android/Mac Firewall solutions such as CISCO, Sophos, Fortinet, SDWAN, etc. Collaborate with senior leadership, CXOs & plant stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals. Lead and mentor a team of support engineers and partners, ensuring continuous improvement and skill development.
