Job Description Position/Role: Network & Security Engineer - L2 Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai Primary Responsibility: Network Design / Project Rollout / Network Management / Security Management. Understand requirements from the Business team and design the network architecture per business needs. Configure and install various network devices and services with end-to-end ownership (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, WAF/SLB, VPN, QoS L0 to L2 works) Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and security configurations. Provide end-to-end support in troubleshooting and resolving network issues LAN, Wifi, WAN, MPLS, ILL, Cloud vNet. Process/Policy adherence & continual improvement initiatives. Interface for IT Audit. Implement necessary corrective/preventive measures to close/minimize Audit Observations. Internal team, business users & vendor coordination to complete assigned tasks / New Project Initiatives Migration of Network links, data center links, Servers, and firewalls. Firewall Ruleset Review with a full assessment of the configuration of the firewall to ensure a secure level of service that protects core network infrastructure. Ready to work in a flexible work environment - should be fine to support during off business hours/nights/holidays 24x7, 365 days. Skills: +6 years experience in Network/Firewall Support, troubleshooting with 4+ years in network design & implementation. CCNA / CCNP /Firewall Certification Experience in Core network & Security design DC Network, LAN, Wifi, MPLS, ILL, P2P, Cloud Virtual Network, UTM Firewalls. Experience in facing IT Audits Experience in implementing/managing network monitoring tools. Ability to learn multiple products across multiple technologies. Well-versed in current network technologies and security standards A fast learner, sharp thinker, investigative mind, and real dedication to solving customer problems. Intermediate to Expert technical skills in the following: BGP / IGRP / VRRP / DC Network /LAN / WAN / MPLS / P2P/ Internet network protocols, Wi-Fi setup, SDWAN, Syslog, and Network monitoring tools.
