Job Title: Wind Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Specialist Experience: 8–10 Years Qualification: Diploma / BE / BTech – Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Location: Pune/Site , Reporting to: O&M Head Department: Operations & Maintenance Industry: Renewable Energy / Wind Energy Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wind Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Specialist to oversee the efficient performance, reliability, and availability of wind turbine generators (WTGs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence at wind farms. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all aspects of wind turbine operation and maintenance activities at site.Perform root cause analysis of turbine faults and lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.Monitor turbine performance, generate reports, and implement corrective actions for optimization.Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and protocols on-site.Review SCADA data and support performance analysis and forecasting.Manage spare parts inventory, tools, and documentation.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure asset integrity and compliance.Prepare and maintain logs, service records, and maintenance reports.Mentor and supervise junior technicians and ensure skill development. Required Qualifications & Skills:Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine O&M (preferably multi-brand exposure).Strong knowledge of wind turbine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.Familiarity with SCADA systems, CMMS software, and data interpretation.Good understanding of safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.) and site risk assessments.Excellent troubleshooting and team leadership abilities.Willingness to work in remote locations and climb towers as needed.Strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
