Job Description

Coordinate all aspects of product dispatch and logistics for the ice cream company. Ensure timely delivery of ice cream products to various distribution points, retail stores, and customers. Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Liaise with production teams to schedule and prioritize product dispatch based on demand forecasts. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and recipient information. Oversee packaging and labeling of products to meet regulatory requirements and company standards. Monitor transportation costs and seek opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality. Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to negotiate favorable terms and resolve any transportation issues. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the integrity of products during transit and storage. Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding delivery schedules, product availability, and order status. Requirements: Previous experience in dispatch & logistics management, preferably in the food or perishable Ice-Cream industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and customers. Proficiency in using logistics software and tracking systems to monitor shipments and inventory levels. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for food transportation and storage. Problem-solving abilities to address unexpected issues and adapt to changing circumstances. Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed to accommodate peak delivery periods. Valid driver s license and clean driving record may be required depending on job responsibilities.
