Job Description

We have an opening with our client which is a BIG4 Consulting Firm. Job Summary: Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in our high rise construction projects by overseeing the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services. 5+ years of Experience in Real Estate Construction Procurement is a must for this role. Location will be - Andheri, Bandra, Goregaon, Thane. Traveling to client sites is a part of this Consulting Role. You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines. Collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders, you will develop procurement strategies, monitor inventory levels, and optimize costs without compromising quality. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and success of our construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop procurement plans and strategies aligned with project timelines. Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors and subcontractors. Monitor procurement activities and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering principles. Resolve supply chain issues and manage procurement risks. Mentor junior procurement staff and provide guidance as needed. Report on procurement performance and contribute to project reviews.
