Job Description

Procurement Strategy Develop and implement the procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify cost-saving opportunities, evaluate vendor performance and establish long-term partnerships with reliable suppliers. Procurement Process Establish and maintain an efficient procurement process, including vendor prequalification, request for proposals (RFPs), bid evaluation, purchase order issuance and contract management. Select vendors and suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery capabilities and other specified criterias (if any). Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favourable terms and conditions for the company. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Cost Management Monitor and control procurement costs, analyse pricing trends and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and timelines. Conduct cost-benefit analyses, negotiate pricing and identify opportunities for volume discounts or favourable terms. Supplier Relationship Management Foster strong relationships with suppliers, maintain regular communication and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise. Collaborate with vendors to improve delivery times, quality and overall performance. Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels, analyse consumption patterns and optimize inventory to minimize excess or shortage. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate availability of materials and equipment for construction and maintenance activities. Quality Assurance Ensure that procured materials, equipments and services meet quality standards and comply with specifications. Conduct periodic quality inspections through Quality team, review supplier performance and take corrective actions as needed. Team Management Supervise and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance, training and support as needed. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Compliance and Ethics Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards in procurement activities. Promote transparency, fairness and ethical conduct in vendor selection. Location - Pune Industry - Contruction Qualification - BE or Diploma in Civil
