Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the cables segment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring overall revenue growth in the assigned region. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional and organizational sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cable industry across B2B and B2C segments. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential growth areas. Monitor competitor activities and formulate strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and drive brand awareness. Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships. Ensure timely collections and manage outstanding payments from clients. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Train and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and achieve business goals. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering (B-tech/BE). Minimum 05+ years of sales experience, preferably in the cable industry or electrical products sector. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of cable industry trends, pricing strategies, and distribution networks. Skills & Competencies: Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills. Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to tackle business challenges. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
