Assistant Manager - SCM

Job Description

1- Scheduling based on monthly production plan in addition with spares requirement if any. Could able to originate the requirement based on supplier location, transit lead time and manufacturing lead time. 2- Follow up for timely availability of material w.r.to inventory norms. 3- Delivery performance / schedule compliance - Monitoring and weekly / monthly and communication to supplier s / business partners. 4- Supplier Capacity mapping and enhancement, to justify our business volumes and shortfall if any. 5- Monitoring - Special /Critical Parts stock at suppliers location. 6- Communication with suppliers / business partners for OS payments and ledger matching. 7- Interaction with Finance for supplier / business partner s due payments and stores for timely GRN s / booking of invoices. 8- Well experienced with bill to ship to concept. 9- Well experienced with sub-contracting transactions. 10- Vendor Aid reconciliation. 11- Expertise in Proprietary and BTP parts procurement. 12- PI - Proforma Invoice approval to obtain from management and to ensure advance payment. 13- To obtain Advance Payment approvals and to ensure advance payment wherever applicable. 14- Inventory Control, Parts classification w.r.to Cost, supplier location and consumption. 15- Multitasking in procurement, cost reduction through different levers of SCM- Logistics cost reduction, IMCR - integrated material cost reduction 16- Contribution in VAVE Proposals. 17- Team Player - Interaction with Stores, PPC, Production, Sales and Spares. Education: BE Mech or DME with GDMM/PGDMM Experience: BE- 5 to 6 years, DME GDMM-PGDMM with 7-8 years
