Job Description

Role Overview: We’re looking for a sharp and culturally tuned-in Social Media Manager who goes beyond posting and planning. This role is ideal for someone who is part strategist, part brand custodian, and part influencer marketer. You'll work closely with the content and design teams, but your main focus will be to lead the brand's voice and visibility, build strong influencer partnerships, track social media health, and grow an engaged digital community. Key Responsibilities: - Social Media Strategy & Oversight: Own and evolve the overall social media strategy — across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more. Set monthly/quarterly objectives for reach, engagement, follower growth, and brand sentiment. Stay ahead of trends, algorithm updates, and cultural moments that can be tapped into. - Influencer Marketing & Collaboration: Identify, shortlist, and onboard relevant influencers, creators, and content partners. Negotiate deliverables, barter deals, or paid collaborations based on campaign goals and budget. Track performance of influencer content: engagement, reach, link clicks, and conversions. Maintain an updated database of influencers and manage long-term relationships. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with the content team to align on campaign calendars and storytelling themes. Coordinate with the design/creative team to ensure brand consistency in influencer assets. Work with the media/performance team to boost key influencer-led or brand-led content. - Community & Engagement Management: Monitor brand mentions, comments, and DMs — guide the community executive (if any) on tone and response. Proactively engage with relevant conversations and UGC in the community space. - Performance Reporting & Insights: Track content performance using platform analytics and reporting tools. Compile and present monthly performance dashboards with key insights and optimizations. Analyze influencer campaign performance — ROI, sentiment, saves, reach, brand lift. What Makes You a Great Fit: You're a digital native who understands what works and why it works on social. You know how to find and nurture creators who align with brand values. You can switch from thinking big (campaign strategy) to getting into the weeds (finding niche influencers, checking metrics). You’re organised, detail-driven, and excellent at relationship management. Requirements: 3–4 years of experience in managing social media and/or influencer marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of how different platforms work and what kind of content performs best on each. Experience working with influencer discovery tools, creator marketplaces, or manual sourcing. Good negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable with tools like Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, Later/Hootsuite, Google Sheets, etc. Bonus if you’ve worked with paid campaigns or affiliate influencer models.
