Team: Filings & Sourcing Hiring Strategy: In line with S&P Global business strategy of Data as a Service, at S&P Market Intelligence we are taking strategic steps to integrate and upgrade our Documents Sourcing and Validation as a service to all conventional and differentiated datasets. In addition to all Market Intelligence content collection teams, Ratings, ESG and Index businesses also started leveraging the MI Filings capabilities. So, to further strengthen the coverage and relevancy part, Filings team is targeting to fortify the leadership by hiring competent leaders who can: Envisage the future business directions of financial data industry. Support department in restructuring and driving transformation. Proactively contributes to the lean and agile framework. Apply robotic touch towards recurring tasks/functions. Be a leader with emotional intelligence who can be a role model by motivating and retaining diverse talent pool. With this key objective in mind, we would like to hire a highly competent candidate as Team Leader/Assistant Manager for this Filings team. Operational Need: This would ease the management of continuous operations, talent and other research and development initiatives. Work closely with downstream teams across all S&P businesses, to ensure their requirements are being addressed proactively. Work proactively with Stewardship and Technology teams in developing and delivering the expectations set by internal and external clients. Work closely with the automation specialists to deliver the results faster, sooner and accurate. Target to overcome the internal and external timeliness and quality goals that prevails in the market. Key Deliverables: Meet/surpass the SLAs on critical deliverables to the internal and external customers. Integration of all Filings requirements to a single point/window that helps to eradicate redundant and duplicate efforts. Automate the document sourcing, validation and de-duplication processes to the extent possible by leveraging advanced platforms like Python, Blue Prism. Identify better and faster public sources / agencies to cater the needs time sensitive projects like Ratings, ESG and States Filings. Strengthen the Unified Documents Repository framework by gathering requirements from all up-downstream teams. Professional Competencies: Minimum 5 years of experience in data service industry. Good knowledge on financial data industry and capital markets. Thought leadership and differentiated thinking. Excellent written and verbal Communication and negotiation skills Effective collaborations across the business. Talent mobilization and development. Basic knowledge of AI and ML. Basic knowledge on DBMS and SQL. Educational Background: Any graduate/postgraduate with sound grip on financial aspects.
