Role & responsibilities S upport the Strategic Supplier Management process to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives Manage supplier quality resources in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, New Product Development, multi-plant locations, and at key suppliers Act as an advocate for the end consumers experience of gracious living Own and improve the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Product Part Approval Processes (PPAP) Develop, teach, and champion supplier quality engineering procedures, tools, and techniques Develop and execute strategic plans to improve our supplier quality, delivery, and costs on a global basis Manage daily supplier quality activities Seek and utilize knowledge of the supplier quality engineering professional, including quality systems, technologies, and statistical tools Develop supplier's capabilities of manufacturing for consistent and repeatable quality, such as step-by-step SOP or BKM, risk analysis and mitigation Communicate with company internal groups or staffs effectively Work with key suppliers to develop a lean culture that drives continuous improvement in quality, delivery and cost Manage and develop Supplier Quality team of procedure/tools/commodity knowledge Cascade down team priority to sub team Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
