Assistant Manager/Sr. Executive - Procurement

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:- Procurement Management: Responsible for the procurement of machinery and spare parts related to Blister Packing, Bottle Packing, Compression machines, etc. Evaluate and select vendors based on technical specifications, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers. Prepare and manage procurement orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance. Technical Expertise : Possess a detailed understanding of the technical specifications of pharmaceutical production machinery. Ensure that procured machinery meets the quality standards and is compliant with the regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Support the engineering team with technical specifications during the evaluation and selection process. Vendor Management & Negotiation: Develop and manage budgets for equipment and spare parts procurement. Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations or alternative sourcing strategies while maintaining high-quality standards. Establish and maintain strong relationships with both local and international suppliers. Ensure continuous monitoring and assessment of vendor performance. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to achieve cost savings while ensuring the availability and quality of materials. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, production, and maintenance teams to understand machine requirements and ensure alignment with production needs. Collaborate with the regulatory and quality control departments to ensure compliance with GMP standards and pharmaceutical regulations.
