Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and strategically driven Assistant Manager in Business Development to contribute to the expansion of PetroBot Technologies’ market presence. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors, managing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth through effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of industry trends and is adept at cultivating long-term client partnerships. Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging business opportunities within the Oil & Gas and NDT industries. Develop and execute new sales strategies, including targeted prospecting and lead generation. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients through proactive communication and engagement. Collaborate with the Sales and Design teams to ensure successful project delivery and meet established sales targets. Client Management & Relationship Building: Proactively identify and cultivate new client opportunities, focusing on strategic partnerships. Maintain and expand existing client relationships through regular communication and performance reviews. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Operational Responsibilities: Manage the optimization of long-term revenue generation from potential clients through targeted sales initiatives. Prepare and submit tender documents/quotations and bid proposals to ensure competitive pricing. Oversee project execution within established timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Industry Awareness & Strategic Planning: Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors. Contribute to strategic planning by leveraging our products and services to identify expansion opportunities. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities and proactively identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A background in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering is highly preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, particularly within the NDT or Oil & Gas industries. Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills – demonstrated through clear and concise written and verbal communication. Proven ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and tailor solutions accordingly. Technical Skills: Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship management. Effective CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software proficiency. Basic knowledge of project management principles. Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably within the Oil & Gas or NDT industries. Experience with bidding processes is a plus. Additional Information Portfolio Management: Manage long-term revenue generation through strategic client engagement and expansion of existing business. Identify and explore new business opportunities within both country and international markets. Establish industry-specific strategies leveraging our products and services to drive growth.
