Role Profile Role Title: Assistant Merchandiser Specialist Division / Brand: Apparel / Wellness Brief Description of Role: The role holder will deliver successful outcomes commensurate with divisional / brand needs. The key requirements will include (but are not limited to) effective administration, maintenance, updating, distribution of data, information and reports related to the needs of the business which assigns the task. Activity related to this group of roles includes, but is not limited to: Pricing / Promotion / Sales system updates, resolution of IT Issues, System setup & Documentation creation, Adhoc Analysis, Business reporting & uploads, ASN / GRN / Invoice creation & reporting, Logistics & Inventory reporting, Ecom Content & Ranging uploads & sweeps, Stock & Pricing front end sync, Ecom reporting incl. marketing & CRM Marketplace content management. Content of the role profile will be determined by 3 core elements: Know-how: the level of skill, knowledge or experience required to deliver successful outcomes Accountability: the extent to which the role is responsible for delivering overall success in the function (accountability for success within the role is implicit). Further, this element identifies if there is any responsibility for work instructions to direct reports. Problem Solving: the level to which the role holder will determine the activity within the function, the extent to which the role is required to create solutions. Role requirements: These will vary according to division / brand. Role holder will be responsible for successful completion of the following elements related to these tasks: Effective administration of relevant documents and systems. Arranging, compiling and co-ordinating records, data, information, and reports. Maintenance of relevant filing and recording systems and any associated electronic systems. Organization, preparation, production and distribution of reports and information files. Know-How Role holder should be educated to Level 4 High School level, demonstrate technical competence in relevant IT systems and solutions. Required to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in English. Demonstrable competence in general office related duties (administration, entry level problem solving, general communication Accountability Role holder will be responsible for successful, timely and quality completion of issued tasks. There are no direct reports to this role. Problem Solving The role holder will be required to complete tasks as issued, those identified as required to deliver successful outcomes and to share information. There is no requirement for the role holder to identify new ways of working or create additional solutions.
